Dear Sangeetha RasikAs :

 

few years ago , I created a few audio tapes

that has a narration of Saint ThyAgarAja"s

worship of Lord Raamachandra with ample

inclusions of his krithis sung by great artists

Sangeetha Kalaanidhis/ like GNB , Mathurai Mani ,

Bala Murali Krishna , MLV , MSS , and others from public

perdormances The narration is mostly in Tamil and

rest is in English . Emphasis is on the saahithyams

of ThyAgabrahmam , their menaings and the rendered versions by

vintage artists .

 

These tapes need to be converted from their current status as

audio tapes into digital version for wider access to the Music loving

public thru the Internet .

 

I would like to hear from the members with computer skills

who can transform these audio into MP3 or other modes .

 

Please contact me if you can help with this project.

I am in New York and therefore it will be easy to work

with Carnatic music lovers here( in USA) . Once the work

gets completed , we can make it available as Multimedia

e-books with Text , audio and images to celebrate

sung by Mathurai MaNI avl , UpachAramuche by Sri KVN , sAlagalla-Aarabhi ,

MahaarAjapuram Viswanatha Iyer avl, NagumOmu-AabhEri by Semmangudi

avl , Chinna Naati Maati MaracithivO -Devakriya Raaga krithi and

Nannu Vidachithi-Reethi Gowlai sung by D.K. JayarAman avl ).

 

Additions will be made to this musical tribute to Sadhguru

ThyAgarAja Swamigal . A parallel English version is also being

prepared for the benefit of those , who may not be familiar with

spoken TamiL .
