This week's definition of ahaMkAra, by Ananda Wood, supplemented by

Dhyanasaraswati, has been uploaded to the Novices folder. It is also

available at

http://www.advaita.org.uk/discourses/definitions/ahaMkAra.htm. Next

week's definition will be dharma by Sunder.

This intiative will be continued as long as we are able and we have

definitions lined up for the next month or two but we do desperately

need a few more volunteers if we are to continue until the end of the

year (at least). The definitions that have been suggested so far,

together with allocated members, can be downloaded from the files

section (weekly definitions.xls). Please would everyone who has been

studying Advaita for longer than, say, five years, look at this file

and see if they could not offer to write a few paragraphs for the

benefit of the beginners on the group. You are also welcome to offer

definitions for terms that are not currently listed if you prefer.

The poll has now been completed by 49 members - 3% of the total

membership.

Best wishes,

Dennis
