Namaste all.

Welcome, Prof.Raman, to our list. In fact I was wondering why you had

not become a member earlier.

May I introduce Prof.K.E. Raman to the list? Side by side with his

excellent career of teaching at BITS Pilani, Prof. Raman has been doing

yeoman service to the student population at BITS by conducting Veda

classes as well as expositions on the Gita and other ShAstras to them

for the past two decades and more. He has been a great motivator for

many youngsters there to turn to spirituality and self-enquiry. We

shall eagerly look forward to his contributions to our discussions.

PraNAms to all advaitins.

Namaste ProfVK:

Let me join you and welcome Prof. Raman to our list. I just had the

opportunity to meet him during my short stay at BITS for the past 10

days. I provided him the details about the advaitin list few days back

and I am very pleased to see him joining the list. I also want to

request him to actively participate in the list discussions and share

his wisdom and insights.

With my warmest regards,

Ram Chandran

Note: I also had the opportunity to present a talk to the faculty at

BITS on "The Relevance of Vedanta and Gita for the Current Time."
