Looking for Vaidya in S.F. bay area

Anyone know of a good, Ayurvedic vaidya in the San

Francisco Bay area, preferably the east bay?

 

Also, please, speaking good English.

 

Please mention if you have first hand experience with the Vaidya"

Dear Janaka;

There are many practitioners of Ayurveda in the SF East Bay. Several

doctors, but the one I know is in San Francisco, I believe. Dr. Jay

Apte also teaches in Texas and the NorthEast sometimes. I have direct

experience with her with 2 clients for whom she gave very succinct and

effective support, and is very helpful even with phone consultation

special needs I have found. She is for many years trained experienced

vaidya. I met her at the first NAMA conference several years ago

where we both were speaking on a panel for women's health.

 

You can also contact the California College of Ayurveda which has an

Oakland campus, for many recommendations in the area.

 

Both can be found online thanks to google search.
