Guest guest
If I understood correctly, Darla and Todd were referring to Wheatgrass and Not Wheat per se. I am not sure if Wheatgrass is cultivated in India. It's big fad in this country especially among people who are "Raw" ie consume only raw foods. The proponents believe that it can improve the digestive system, prevent cancer, and heart disease, tonify the liver, and prevent hair loss. It is generally consumed as a juice. I have seen several folks complaining of allergies after consuming Wheatgrass Juice. It does seem to elicit an autoimmune response. Since each individual is different he/she may respond differently to same food.
