Guest guest
I am going to start going to alanon meetings. I want to be able to help and support him in every way I can during this. I know that he is making a great choice for his future. Thank you for this advice. I will talk to him about getting involved with a meditation group. p s <tightbrwn76 > escribió: <snip> For the person going through AA and getting of addiction, the single most powerful and helpful tool can be meditation as it is the only safe and healing method that allows you to deal with the powerful emotions that will ensue as the person begins the recovery as well as the ability to deal with the cravings of wanting that one-more-drink/drug as they go through the withdrawals (depending on how severe it is for him). I would highly encourage him to goto a meditation practice and be involved with it.
