Will Malefic planet Vargottam be more harmful ?

I would be very grateful if you can take time to answer one query of mine

 

TDP of birth : Time 10: 25 AM / Date 24 March 1976 / Place Mumbai

 

If you look at the chart, 3rd Lord moon is in 8th house.It seems to be a malefic. Problem is

this Moon is also Vargottam in Navamsa.Will that accentuate the effects. Also it is the Atma

Karaka in this chart.

 

What conclusions can we draw ? I have been troubled with depression for more than a

decade. Does Atma karaka mean this is the main issue I will deal with in this life ? Also

vargottam will mean more complications ? Some one told connection of 3rd with 8th also

indicates suicidal tendencies - fortunately that is not the case as of now.

 

Will be grateful for any help.

 

As a side question, in Navamsa, 7th Lord Mars is in 8th House - does that mean problems in

Married or does it mean ideally my wife should 7th Lord in 8th house in Janma chart.
