Guest guest Posted February 14, 2007 Report Share Posted February 14, 2007 I have just listened to a lecture on progression, which says to time marriage, you find where the Sun is in the Navamsha, and you progress the Sun one sign per year of the native. When this progressed Sun has rashi aspect to the 7th house in the Navamsha, the native gets married. In your case, your Navamsha has Aries rising. The sun is exalted in the first house, along with Venus. Since you are in your 25th year now (your 24th year was when you were 23, going on 24) the sun has gone past its 24th year placement -- you understand? We took the sun, and 25 times it has changed signs as you are in your 25th year. Last year it was in the first house of your Navamsha as 24 is a multiple of 12 (and there are 12 signs). The sign the progressed Sun is in THIS year is Taurus, and it does indeed have rashi aspect on the 7th house. This year is possible for marriage. However, it is also stated when there is rashi aspect on the 7th LORD, the native meets the spouse. The closest signs with rashi aspects on the 7th lord are 4 away from Taurus (Aquarius or Leo). So either you met them 4 years ago, or you will meet them 4 years from now. Another thing to note, since you have Venus in the first house, is the dictum which states when the sun is in trines to Venus, the native falls in love -- again, this would be 4 years away (when the progressed sun has gone to Leo). So it's possible that you meet, fall in love with, and marry your spouse all in the same year, 4 years from now. May love find you, and find you well.
