!Om Gurave Namah!

Dear Learneds, Namaskar!

I have read in various posts and articles that Sun represents father of the native. And the state of Sun indicates the nature of the father. I recently came across the horscopes of two siblings -

1) Aries Lagna with a debilitated Sun conjoined Retro Venus & 9H from Sun - Gemini - with lord Me in Scorpio with Mars.

2) Pisces lagna with Sun in Capricorn & 9H from Sun has Retro Saturn in Virgo and lord Me in Saggitarius with Mo.

In my humble opinion the nature of father seems to be different from both horoscopes.

Also natives born between October 14 and November 14 will have a debilitated Sun, does it indicate a bad father?

Any guidence or pointers are appreciated.

Warm regards,

Pranav

Dear Pranav, Namaskar

I think that the nature of the father is better

seen from the 9th house in the dvadasamsa. In

the Rasi chakra the Sun itself shows the person's

experience of matters related to father etc, and

the 9th lord from it shows the presence of the

father in one's life - i.e., these are more

related to one's own experience rather than the father's real nature.

Best wishes,

Samir

Dear Samir, Namaskar!

Thank you for your response!

I checked in the D-12 charts for both natives and it has Rahu in 9th house in Virgo!! and same planetary aspects on the 4th house.

Very correct!

Warm regards,

Pranav
