I am very keen in knowing my real birth time so that I can find out my Ascendant Sign. Unfortunately, since almost one year I am trying and got some analysis which are as follows : My Personal Details : Born on 2nd March, 1972 in Mumbai (V.T.), India. With above data, my birth moon comes Virgo. I asked my mother once my birth time, she told me around 1 to 2. If I take 1 to 2 birth time, than my ascendant comes Gemini. Than I slowly started analysing myself and even asked my friends about my character. In general, if we study any ascendant sign, most of the things are same, however, every sign has few typical specific characteristics, and Gemini has Communication. Eventhough, I am good in communication, but I am not a party man, I don't like to joke, I don't like to communicate in between groups. That forced me to search again to find out my birth time, and than I realised that with 3.00 pm my ascendant change to Cancer. I asked my 2 very closed friends to read about gemini and cancer. And they both said that I am more close to Cancer than Gemini. Many Cancerian qualities to me, and it's around 6 months now, but again I have a feeling that cancer can not be my ascendant. Reason: Cancer's sign is Crab and Crab is more comfortable in water than the earth, whereas myself is running away from the water. I learn Swimming around 1 year, but still I am afraid to go in deep water infact above 6 feet (. So how come a cancerian which is water sign is running away the Water ??? Since last one week again I am studying and I come back to gemini and than realise that many gemini qualities are similar to me because gemini is an Air Sign and I have some very typical qualities of Air Signs, like I like mountains, open air, walking inclding speed walking ( I have participated in 20KM walkathon - never won but completed within time ),I have close places, including including rooms. I like my room - house and working place to have open air. Also I don't like hot atmosphere, I prefer cold places (and this excludes me from Fire Signs also. I like to go beaches in the night time, like to have either slow or very fast driving. So if I am Air Sign, and there are 3 air signs viz gemini, libra and aquarius. Gemini I disregarded before, so the left is libra and acquarius. If Libra than I am born in between 10-12 and from 11.58 the sign change to Scorpion. And if I born in the night time i.e. after 12, than there is a 24 hours difference and therefore, my Nakshatra also change from Hasta to Uttara. I am very confused and therefore requested to help me to find out my birth time based on above data. U were born in 1972 so parents during that time can definitely remember the approx time of birth even if it wasn t noted down. Guest guest Posted February 24, 2007 Report Share Posted February 24, 2007 Our Country do not have birth and death registration system properly.In villages the village munsif has to maintain the birth registers but now after the govt. advertisements the people are aware to register the births and deaths. But just 30 years or 20 years back there was no pucca registration system. the people who born in that period in villages are suffering to remeber thier dob and tob.the illiterate parents do not remember these dates. They will quote the important events occured while the child was born.so the after some period their son and daughter facing difficulties at that time the children will ask the parents where is my horoscope? they will say no horoscope...Now a days this trend is changed....
