He is saying only a few words and his communication is mostly non-verbal. My Amateur vedic astrology friend told me the following: 1. Mercury is in the 8th house and hence the speech delay. 2. Further Me is aspected by retrograde Saturn in 2nd house. 3. In his opinion since the chart has Taurus rising, Saturn will do good and my son should be able to talk well (but he could not say when). Can you please validate the above information? Is there a likely date when he would start talking well? I hope my learned friends will help you with vedic jyotish,but in my opinion you could give him,CALCAREA CARB in 30 potency. In one tea spoon of water,add one drop of that medicine,before sleep,at every third night for 21 days,hope it would help. However,he should have noted that Mercury is aspecting its own house (though frm eigth) & is with Sun the 4th lord in 8th. Saturn is terribly afflicted by Mars, the 12th lord... Right now, he is in the Dasa of Tauras-Saggitarius antardasa, which has the Atmakarak & Gnati Karaka.
