Guest guest
Dear Ramakanta Prabhu, PAMHO. AGTSP! > If point a and b are correct, and you were unable to disprove them, the c > follows logically within the closed system we are discussing. Where did you read that? What are you talking about? Are you saying all our arguments must first have been stated by Srila Prabhupada? If so then first show me where Srila Prabhupada ever challenged his own system for initiation or where he authorised you to do so. Also this assumes that evidence must be visible ('where did you READ that?) whereas you have challenged my need to see visible evidence allowing the GBC to change the status quo. So this is a double self-contradiction. Well done! See how all your challenges simply defeat Ramakanta. Ø Point c is simply saying the GBC must carry on following the orders they > were given and thus maintain the status quo. <Now you presented a new conclusion. > No, it’s simply a different way of stating the same conclusion. This is sooooo obvious!! Point a) sets out the status quo you have already agreed existed since 1966. Point b) states that no order countering this status quo has been presented by the GBC (and with NCIP we see only orders locking down the status quo). The orders that we know for CERTAIN the GBC received thus only continue the status quo. Point c) thus, in effect, means the GBC must carry on managing the status quo (point a). I do not have to prove the status quo continues or that a disciple must follow the orders of his guru. These are axiomatic principles. You must prove that the status quo can change or that the disciples (GBC) can change the order. Since you cannot disprove a and b we are left with c intact, which is simply the continuation of the status quo that you agree existed since 1966 (point a). Since you admit you have no order allowing the GBC to change the status quo, the debate is now over. I’m sure you’ll get it eventually though you do seem to be very slow on the uptake, with all due respect. We can discuss is later. First you have to admit that your points a) and b) alone do not prove that Srila Prabhupada remains the sole diksa guru for ISKCON. ys Ramakanta dasa ----------------------- To from this mailing list, send an email to: Initiations.in.ISKCON-Owner (AT) pamho (DOT) net _____________________________ _____ TV dinner still cooling?
