Guest guest
Putana assumed the form of a beautiful lady by means of her mystic power. Then she got liberation and assumed the form of a beautiful lady in Goloka. She offered her breast to Krishna then Krishna reciprocated by sending her to Goloka where she could be a dhatri, a wet nurse. She never got given a body by any Guru; she imagined a suitable form that she could approach Krishna with then through her mystic power she assumed this form. Finally, she went to Goloka and served the Lord in that kind of form after all her bad consciousness was destroyed. Śrīmad Bhāgavatam 10.6.4 sā khe-cary ekadotpatya pūtanā nanda-gokulam yoṣitvā māyayātmānaḿ prāviśat kāma-cāriṇī Once upon a time, Pūtanā Rākṣasī, who could move according to her desire and was wandering in outer space, converted herself by mystic power into a very beautiful woman and thus entered Gokula, the abode of Nanda Mahārāja. Śrīmad Bhāgavatam 10.6.37-38 padbhyāḿ bhakta-hṛdi-sthābhyāḿ vandyābhyāḿ loka-vanditaiḥ ańgaḿ yasyāḥ samākramya bhagavān api tat-stanam yātudhāny api sā svargam avāpa jananī-gatim kṛṣṇa-bhukta-stana-kṣīrāḥ kim u gāvo 'numātaraḥ The Supreme Personality of Godhead, Kṛṣṇa, is always situated within the core of the heart of the pure devotee, and He is always offered prayers by such worshipable personalities as Lord Brahmā and Lord Śiva. Because Kṛṣṇa embraced Pūtanā's body with great pleasure and sucked her breast, although she was a great witch, she attained the position of a mother in the transcendental world and thus achieved the highest perfection. What then is to be said of the cows whose nipples Kṛṣṇa sucked with great pleasure and who offered their milk very jubilantly with affection exactly like that of a mother? Śrīmad Bhāgavatam 3.2.23 aho bakī yaḿ stana-kāla-kūṭaḿ jighāḿsayāpāyayad apy asādhvī lebhe gatiḿ dhātry-ucitāḿ tato 'nyaḿ kaḿ vā dayāluḿ śaraṇaḿ vrajema Alas, how shall I take shelter of one more merciful than He who granted the position of mother to a she-demon [Pūtanā] although she was unfaithful and she prepared deadly poison to be sucked from her breast? Nice observations. Yes Krsna is indeed the most magnanimus.
