Guest guest
Haribol When does the soul enter the fetus/body? At what stage? Which sacred texts can this information be found? Are there any links on the internet? Thank you Jai Jai Sri Radhe The soul enters the mother's egg with the father's semen. The soul is in a state of deep sleep at that time, from which it gradually awakens. By the seventh month the soul is more or less fully awake. theist
SB 3.31.1: The Personality of Godhead said: Under the supervision of the Supreme Lord and according to the result of his work, the living entity, the soul, is made to enter into the womb of a woman through the particle of male semen to assume a particular type of body. Yes guest 108 I believe it does answer your question. The soul first enters the semen of the father. Then enters the egg of the woman riding with the particular spermie that is destined to make it into the egg. Then the material body of the fetus begins to grown around the soul. When grown sufficently birth takes place. Then growth old age and disease and finally death of that body takes place. From the womb to the tomb. Then if the soul is not God conscious he is doomed to do it all again. A fuller explanation is given in the purport to the verse which you can read by clicking on the verse number link above.
