He should face charges for war crimes committed during his term of office. But far from retiring quietly, Tony Blair and wife face the very lucrative prospect as roving ambassadors and public speakers' part of the pay-off for doing the elite's bidding maybe?

<!-- TEXT BLOCK 2 --> The Prime Minister is to spurn the chance to earn up to $20 million a year on the international lecture circuit by concentrating on raising money for his new Blair Foundation, which will fund humanitarian work in Africa.

<!-- TEXT BLOCK 3 --> In 2005, Mr Clinton earned just less than $5m for 29 speeches - and it has been reported that he has earned almost double that in 2006.

<!-- TEXT BLOCK 4 --> Last year, on one particularly lucrative day in Canada, Bill Clinton made $475,000 for two speeches. This was more than double his annual salary as President.

<!-- TEXT BLOCK 5 --> Wesley Neff, president of the New York-based Leigh Speaking Bureau, thinks Mr Blair's future as a speaker is "bigger than Bill Clinton's", since "he will be the first world leader to come on the market in the last three or four years".

<!-- TEXT BLOCK 6 --> Mrs Blair has already appeared on the professional lecture circuit. She reportedly charged $200,000 for a tour of Australia and $60,000 for a single event in the US, BBC reports.

<!-- TEXT BLOCK 7 --> Cherie Blair, repeatedly accused of cashing in on her husband’s name with lucrative speaking tours, is likely to "piggy back" on his bankability by arranging her own lecture dates to coincide with his schedule.

<!-- TEXT BLOCK 8 --> The international speaking circuit which will provide the Blairs with the long-term income to top up the Prime Minister’s $234,500 a year pension and $180,000 annual ‘public service’ allowance which are his for life.

<!-- TEXT BLOCK 9 --> Mr Blair’s thirst for peace in the Middle East is said to have been reinvigorated by the success of restoring power-sharing to Northern Ireland, dailymail.co.uk reports.

<!-- TEXT BLOCK 10 --> Mr Blair has also agreed to a request from President George W Bush that he will fly in to the Middle East when requested as a special envoy to try to revive the stalled peace process.

<!-- TEXT BLOCK 11 --> The Prime Minister is being advised by four trusted confidants who have held a number of private dinners in London since the start of the year to help him map out a career plan after he leaves office, telegraph.co.uk reports.

Such paranoia.... oh never mind you get your news from Pravda LOL.

You don`t seem to be in a rush to have Clinton tried for the chaos he caused in the former Yugoslavia maybe you should do some reading about what is still going on there today close to a decade since that unlawful act of aggresion by Clinton and NATO.

When 300,000,000 Americans voted presidents like Bill Clinton or G.W. Bush to lead their state aren't they somehow all involved? What happens in former Yugoslavia is surely dramatic but is also the resultant karma of the so called victims as well. But this is what people don't understand and therefore blame God for allowing an unjust world to flourish right before their eyes. Basically this is the main reason of modern atheism - people say, if there would be a God, He wouldnt allow all this mischief to go on......

...it's sad that so many still don't understand the islamist threat - Mr. Blair was courageous to continue with his position - despite so much left-wing propagandas and - Mr. Bush should be credited for his courage too - when all is said and done - they did the right thing.

[...do spare me the usual hot air - we all know your position all too well so don't bother bertating this posting...]
