rejection of god

Haribol. God is a concept that has delivered only pain and anguish since the world has begun. I reject god, not because, as on the other hot topic, he has failed to serve me, rather because he is the most unattractive person. Before yall raise your pitch forks to run me to the witching post, this is my reason.

 

Once, in the forests of Vrndavana, Krsna was being his usual heartthrob, messing with the minds of the gopis, hiding, running away, making them try to find him. He decided to trick them, and assumed the form of Lord Narayana. The gopis came upon God in all His Glory, exhibiting in full, all the opulences of fame, beauty, wealth, power, knowledge, and aloofness from it all (the greatest of opulences, BTW). The goips were all well trained to worship in the manner that had been handed down by the priests and great sages, and they all bowed down dutifully.

 

However, they were all thinking: "What a total and untimely drag. We have no time for this, and we wish He would just disappear and leave us alone. We have nothing to do with Him, because our hearts, minds, bodies, and souls belong to that boy who has run up that deer trail, and now this God is blocking our way."

 

I also reject dry gods, stuffy religions, ancestral prayers and rituals and tribal congregations who bloodlet in the names of their false idols. I reject god in favor of the one who just by thinking of him in total exile, tears of transcendental anxiety warm my face. He is hiding from me, but if I can just rid myself from this god-creature that gets in my way, I can continue with this chase.
