mahak
I do understand the story of the poor brahmana who had no facility to worship, so did so in his mind, burning his finger in imagination, and when back from samadhi, saw the blister. The potency of Lord Nityananda is unfathomable. Even devotees cannot comprehend, because Srila Krsnadas Kaviraja states that Lord Ananta, a partial incarnation of Lord Nityananda, with unlimited tongues, has chanted His glories from time immemorial, and is not near finished. Srila Prabhupada describes Lord Govinda as the primal Lord, and Lord Nityananda Rama is the first plenary representation. So when we speak of the various mahavisnus, the various incarnations, the Lord Narayana, lord of the Vaikuntha Spiritual world, all these forms of the Lord Spring from Lord Nityananda. And He is so kind that he personally appears before each and every sentient being as the localized Paramatma, Sri Chaita Guru, to enact guru tattwa when the self is sincerely ready to begin the process of Bhakti Yoga. All Glories to Lord Nityananda, always a pleasant personality, as Balarama, as Sri Laksmana, and as our ever well wisher, the witness being that never leaves our side, regardless of our attempts to hide from Him. Murali_Mohan_das
Induleka didi. Thanks for posting this! I'd like to read it, but the Sanskrit/Bengali is all mangled. Perhaps you'll have better luck using this Sanskrit conversion tool than I have: http://www.granthamandira.com/convert/index.html I've tried before to use it to clean up Sanskrit from copy/pastes from the books of Srila Sridhar Maharaja, but I'm told non-standard fonts were used. Supposedly, the conversion tool works just fine for text using the Balarama font (and others). Maybe one of the Sanskrit scholars on the forum can offer some advice on how to use it. Murali_Mohan_das
I tried to use the GGM converter tool without success in either Internet Explorer (IE) or Firefox, so I tried another tool linked to from the GGM site:http://www.bhasa.net/diCrunch.php The source was set to "Balarama" and the target was set to "Harvard-Kyoto" (a system of representing Sanskrit with "diacritics" in plain text". Perhaps the best way to post Sanskrit to the web is to use Unicode, since it can represent all the diacritics without needing any special fonts installed. Here is what "Balarama" to "Unicode" looks like (assuming this site supports Unicode, if not, it'll be more gobbeldy-gook): çrimän-nityänanda-candräya namaù “I offer my humble obeisances to the transcendental moon Lord Çrémän Nityänanda Prabhu.”nityänandam ahaà vande, karëe lambita-mauktikam ; caitanyägraja-rüpeëa, pavitré-kåta-bhütalam . “I humbly bow down to and glorify Lord Çré Nityänanda Prabhu, on whose beautiful left lotus ear one elegant pearl ornament is swinging. Accepting the role as the elder brother of the Supreme Lord Gauränga Mahäprabhu, Lord Nityänanda Prabhu sanctified the whole world and purified all the living entities.” ... Nope, looks like this forum doesn't have Unicode support. So, the most universally-compatible way to post Sanskrit would be to use Harvard-Kyoto. indulekhadasi
Well yes, Lord Nityananda's mercy also includes that he will destroy the crooked mentality of such beings. I hope one day he will shower such mercy on me and also destroy my crooked mentality. Of course, I must be more sincere and eager for Lord Nityananda to do such a thing. When he comes to smash my anarthas I cannot hold on to them tightly and say, "Oh Lord, please smash my anarthas." I wish I would become more sincere.
