Avinash
I have read in some scriptures that Vishnu incarnated as Rama. Hare Krishnas believe that Rama is eternally present in spiritual world. My questions is:- Who incarnated as Rama? Did Vishnu incarnate as Rama? Or did Rama of spiritual world incarnate as Rama of Ayodhya on Earth?
supercow
IMHO, Rama is a Krishna-avatar like Caitanya and Vyasadeva. Many avatars (Buddha, Nrisimhadev, etc...) that appear on Earth are Vishnu-avatar. There are mixed avatars too. Scripture would be an authority on this so that we may know who is exactly who.
