tackleberry
Is there an online dic., where one can type a word in sanskrit so it can give an equivalent English word? Also, in other dictionaries, how to find the word we're looking for, when there are so many?
pokoya
To answer your question, no. The online resources I have come across, do not take the Sanskrit word in Devangari script. You have to convert it into a transliteration code. That is, the Sanskrit script is represented, by convention, an English letter, or combination of letters...so that अ is "a", and आ is "A".....The translation service you use will usually have the transliteration table they use posted near by. tackleberry
No, I meant transliteration, it doesn't have to be in devanagari script.
