indulekhadasi
Hare Krishna Everyone, Thank you so much everyone for engaging me in Krishna katha for approximately one year. It was really a very enjoyable experience. You have engaged me so well that I have become a senior member of Audarya in a short amount of time! I just wanted to say that (starting from this Friday) although I will be still posting, it will be not so frequent. My studies are becoming harder and I will be preparing for college applications around this winter. Please bless me to continue remembering the lotus feet of Lord Nityananda even while I am doing my studies, because otherwise my life is useless. If I have offended anyone with harsh words or anyway else, please be compassionate and forgive me. Thanking everyone once again, Your servant eternally, indulekhadasi
Kulapavana
Good luck to you, didi Indulekha! Concentrating on your school studies is very important. You are now building a foundation for your future life, at least here on earth.

Please bless me to continue remembering the lotus feet of Lord Nityananda even while I am doing my studies, because otherwise my life is useless. Didn't you say you were 14 sometime back? That seems early to be preparing for college applications. Good luck with your education and everything else.
indulekhadasi
Thank you everyone! Sarvah Gattah prabhuji, thank you so much. yogesh
Wishing you, Indrulekha devi dasi, all the best in what ever you take up for your study. You remind me of Ravi prabhu (from Idaho) also a young and very intelligent devotee who recently met the pope. For what its worth if I have any small insignificant qualifications to give any blessings then I will pray that you always remain the same (as Theist prabhu put it so nicely a bumble bee) always looking for nectar at the lotus feet of Lord Nityanada. In actual fact it is we who actually need your blessing from one so young but yet so spiritually advanced. Definately the Lord has some special plan for you to assist Sirla Prabhupada in spreading the holy name of the Lord. My humble obeisance to you:pray: Vancha kalpatarubhyas ca krpa-sindhubhya eva ca patitanam pavanebhyo vaisnavebhyo namo namah Hare Krsna/Krishna Jay Sirla Prabhupada
bhaktajan
Jai, Srimati Sarasvati Devi has certainly bestowed you with so much. Might you formulate teaching curriculum for Home Schooling --this is so important for child-devotee education, no? Funny, I have thought that every devotee should acquire a "Teacher's Certification" --only as a base for any type of future employment/higher degree. There is a want of "parochial schools" whose standard is unreproachable. Building a model of the future of schools actually is quite a lucrative and enlivening proposal. The logistics of franchising a schooling-enitity is less cumbersome than most business-models. I'm sure you will make a mark, with or with out world-reknown. All wellwishes to our 14 year old Srimati Bhaktivendanta Induleka-dasi! Ki Jai!
indulekhadasi
Yes, Ravi prabhu came to my area to talk about homeschooling with his younger brother. Due to his inspiration, I am doing homeschooling. I like it very much as it is more conductive to spiritual life. I do have experience of the outside world. I went to regular school from K-7th grade. When I saw boys and girls hugging and kissing in the hallways of middle school, it threw me off. I can say I am much better off now. Thank you so much Yogesh prabhuji, for your words of encouragement. Vancha kalpatarubhyas ca kripa sindhubhya eva ca patitanam pavanebhyo vaishnavebhyo namo namah Please...both in age and qualification you are senior to me. It is not proper for you to offer your obesiances to me.
indulekhadasi
Bhaktajan prabhuji, I think that would be a great idea. Yes, homeschooling can be better for devotee children. Of course, it really depends on the child. I am thinking of getting in to medical school...but I can always do that, too. All glories to Monsieur Bhaktajan Prabhuji! But out of curiosity, what would you like to pursue in the material world? Any specific interest like music, writing? Because these professions may be a little more conducive to spirituality.... indulekhadasi
For my career, I would like to be a lung specialist (pulmonologist). I love to write and yes, I love singing. I play harmonium, violin, recorder, etc. I like to do bharatanatyam dance, also. Actually, I am doing my arangetram in about a month. I am so excited. Thank you for your best wishes, I really appreciate it.

theist
You must prove to me how you have a taste for the mundane. I can't detect a scent of it in you. That is because your sense of smell is only attuned to the scent of nectar bearing flowers. You bypass the stench in others in the natural course of gathering nectar. My life is filled with a preoccupation with the mundane. I won't bring you down with the details. But I believe in transformation. Krsna consciousness is so powerful that it can turn stool flys into nectar obsessed bees. I too will get to the nectar someday. Sometimes the nectarean pollen collected by the bees falls from their feet in flight and may land on a stool fly seemingly by accident delivering mercy on contact. Thanks to you for flying past us so closely allowing us to be such recipients and to share in what you have gathered.

mahak
THANK YOU. wE ARE FORTUNATE that Lord Nityananda prabhu is glorified here. He is more merciful than Lord Chaitanya, and we are greatly in need of his mercy. If you get tired of lungs, your qualities are needed by those who have been blessed with autism, yet the world treats them like they are great burdens. As the professional community gets involved with these folks who are quite aloof already from the world, we see the hidden qualities, especially in regard to the Highly Functional autistic folks, such as those with aspergers. I have had the pleasure to associate with these folks as a job coach, and its like Im in a different world. Such expression of pure love is not often available for those who are in competition with others considered sane. I feel very lucky. When you get to this subject in your studies, pay close attention. Its a material career, but there is very little material consciousness involved by the right people. hare krsna, ys, mahaksadasa
indulekhadasi
I see, thank you for the suggestion Mahak prabhu. Although, I don't think I would get tired of lungs. I am an asthmatic myself, and I know how hard it is to live with lung problems. I think it would be great to dedicate my efforts to help people with these problems (even though it is on the bodily platform). Of course, I will change my attitude towards those with autism and will be fully supportive of them. I did work with some autistic kids when I was in elementary school. They nominated me to help them out, and I think it really was an educational and emotional experience for us all. Thank you again for your kind words. All glories to Lord Nityananda. I'm very happy for you Although I can't bless you, I ask Mother Suddha-Saraswati to bless you in your intellectual pursuits, and Lord Nityananda to bless you in your spiritual pursuits! You have taught me so much, and have led me deeper into Radha-Krishna Consciousness than I ever thought I could be. Thank you so much my dear friend. You've helped me more than I can say throughout the months I've been on Audarya.
Avinash
All the best for your future life. You are far more intelligent than I was at the age of 14. I also at that time liked reading spiritual books, but only as stories. Of course, I also liked spiderman, superman etc. But now that I have become old:( , comics do not interest me. Wish you success in life. You are very much interested in spirituality. That is good. But since you are on this Earth, it is highly important to make full use of it. For that, having good health is essential. Therefore, please do not neglect your health. From your posts I have come to know that you have often felt weak. It is not good to be so weak in such an young age. Therefore, please take care of your health. And all the best for your studies.

I was also struggling with asthma when I was about 6-12 yrs old. It feels like you are drowning as you are gasping for air. Especially at night when the bout of coughing starts it is hard to stop and the chest and muscle pains are excruciating. I remember some nights when it gets so bad that it feels like I was going to leave my body. Tears would actually come to my eyes and I would pray and surrender to my sweet Lord that If he wants to take me I was ready. Then a sense of peace would come to me and the coughing would subside. After the age of 12 the asthma actually started to subside and eventually disappear as I took part in sports. But now with reduced exercise I feel that asthma is making a comeback. My mother gave me Auyrvedic remedy for Asthma. It is approximately 12 Sweet basil leaves, a small piece of ginger, a teaspoon of Jaggery and 5 black pepper corns. First crush the black pepper corns using mortar and pestle. Then take the crushed black pepper corns out and crush the Basil leaves with the ginger untill you can extract as much juice as possible. Mix the Basil and ginger juice with a teaspoon of Jaggery and black pepper corns and this should give you a table spoon of juice. This must be repeated 4 times a day. Oh and by the way try and reduce dairy product intake because it may increase phlem which lands up in the lung. My niece who is 3 years old is also struggling with asthma. It is a sight most parents cannot bear to see. The gasping for air is as excruciating for the child as it is for the parents to observe. Once again wishing you all the best in your study.
