jinglebells
I don't think hatred against one of the greatest thinkers is necessary. It's always the religious people who attack scientists, all the while utilizing the comforts that science gives. Why is that? This is bogus idea. Life without technology is safer, saner, more Enjoyable, more spiritual, less complicated, less lusty etc. Ironic that you're able to communicate this message ONLY with the help of technology! bhaktajan
Ironic that you're able to communicate this message ONLY with the help of technology! Yes. It is ironic. My real wish is to arrive home tonight safe and whole--if you take the same commute as I do --you'd be wearing adult diapers, now, that would not be ironic it would be a sign of your advanced knowledge of material mechanisms. Is this kid is an under-paid scientist, or what? At least you could occupy yourself with reading graffitti or billboards or, listen to headphones and text messages before arriving at your bomb-shelter tube-sweet-tube. Modernity has simply put more emphasis on machines for reaping money without employing humans. Every 1950's era documentary about the future of life-with-advanced-technology has proven to save nothing and nobody --it has only provide sterile existential living. This is not new. The industrial revolution spawned these same sentiments in the end of the 1800's [ie: Chekov's play "Three Sisters"]. All the social revolutions are about property & wealth distribution --weather Tsar, Despot or Pope --it's about the money. [Religion & Faith is not the cause of war--it is about property & wealth distribution & Clans]

The last century is a case study of such. Every social atrocity is due to "progress" [in Kali-yuga terms]. We all know the toys and selfish gains of things is foolish.... but that does not mean; you know who; did not have pursue; otherwise they would not exist, right? each had lessons; we ate the apple (enjoyed the fruit) and find it isolates us from reality (the garden)..... so we learned from the 'car wreck' ............ Even sacrifices "for society" are driven by the notion of reward--lusty rewards, even if petty and fleeting lusts. seems someone has lost all faith in compassion between people.... as if God left us.........
