What are the main items that observing knowledge of the elders offers for Peace among each?

Is it the magical aspects?

The companionship?

The methods of compassionate awareness?

What are the key items that bring us together under this branch of understanding?

This could be enlightening to all, so be kind and honest, so we can all learn.

Thank you

If you are new to the study of Vedic culture, you may not understand all of these ancient Vedic texts or their purpose, or why it is necessary to mention them in this review. However, this study will provide the knowledge for you to begin to see how vast the Vedic science is and how numerous are these Vedic texts. You will begin to understand that there are few topics that have been left uncovered in the Vedic investigation of reality and the search for Truth, and in its presentation of what is God

If we are going to understand the essential truths in Vedic literature, then we must get a glimpse of the content and purpose of its many texts and the expansive nature of the knowledge it contains. The Vedic philosophy encompasses the oldest spiritual texts of any religion in the world, and its subjects are broad and numerous. Its more advanced concepts can be difficult for even the greatest scholars to fathom. The Vedic literature discusses many types of philosophical viewpoints, and studying some of them will let us see that many of the concepts that we accept as new today are nothing more than parts of the ancient Vedic knowledge that had been dealt with and thoroughly understood thousands of years ago. Thus, there are not many ideas that are really new at all. The main purpose of the Vedic literature is to establish knowledge of the Absolute Truth and the process for attaining the highest levels of self-realization

Its quite good writing hey bishadi. It is said that vedanta means this:

anta:indicates the end of something

veda:knowledge

I thought about that. Some would say 'oh yes end of knowledge - the pinnacle is this path'. That is a fair assessment of a faith based statement. I honor that faith whenever it awakens a person - wherever. There we can find some harmony.

Then I thought...yes 'end of knowledge' now....life to begin...>>>>>

In that way the tradition is not held as superior (to cause violence)...it is simply a gift to be grateful for (that is what vedanta means for me).

.....The development of science passes through similar stages, which have already occurred at least once before, some millennia before. Behind tangible objects we discovered waves, oscillations, vibrations, which reveal the possibility of the existence of a free world. These vibrations are similar

to the “creator world” of the ancient scriptures, to the logos in the hermetic tradition, or to the mantras of Indian saints. Schrodinger who was one of the creators of the subatomic

wave theory in his old age had a favourite Indian reading: the Vedanta. The word „veda” means knowledge, and „anta” indicates the end of something. Thus Vedanta means: Where knowledge ends.

Written by Bela Mihalik for OIDA therapy.

Perhaps this is a Key :):

8.9 One should meditate upon the Supreme Person as the one who knows everything, as He who is the oldest, who is the controller, who is smaller than the smallest, who is the maintainer of everything, who is beyond all material conception, who is inconceivable, and who is always a person. He is luminous like the sun and, being transcendental, is beyond this material nature.

the compassion known, felt, observed and real; then be happy to realize each can understand the truth, equally.

We are of this existence together; so observing the knowledge to combine all into the One, is purposed, inevitable and as promised.
