Laxmi.B.Hiremath
Hi friends Can anyone tell me how can we find our Real guru.?
Sarva gattah
Srila Prabhupada on What is Guru - "A spiritual master takes his devotee disciples as his spiritual master. That is the position. He thinks that "Krsna has sent me so many spiritual masters." He does not think himself as spiritual master. He thinks himself their servant. Because they have to be trained. Krsna has appointed him to train them. Therefore he thinks himself as servant of the disciples. This is the position. So when one is advanced, he can see the importance of devotees. Advanced devotee never disobeys or disrespects another devotee. Disrespect to another devotee is a great offence. Vaishnava aparadha. Vaishnava aparadha is very serious offence. Therefore, we teach to address amongst the devotees, "Prabhu", "Prabhu", "Such and such Prabhu." This should not be simply spoken by the lips. It should be realized. Everyone should think other devotee as his Prabhu, master. Not he should try to become master.” (The Nectar of Devotion Lectures, Vrndavana, October 23, 1972). Find one who only talks about Krsna 24 hours a day and cares deeply for the welfare of ALL living entities. Find this person and you have found REAL Guru Actually, if you are 110% sincere and are begging to God for guidence and to be used in His Plan, then, from within your own heart, God or Krsna will send you Guru. If you are genuin , you do not have to find Guru, he will find you.

Kulapavana
Hi friends Can anyone tell me how can we find our Real guru.? when you find him you will know. but it helps to know what you are looking for. for me, it was important that the guru comes in a proper sampradaya and does not present his own philosophy, but that of his disciplic line. Bishadi
Srila Prabhupada on What is Guru - "A spiritual master takes his devotee disciples as his spiritual master. That is the position. He thinks that "Krsna has sent me so many spiritual masters." He does not think himself as spiritual master. Good stuff..... as the questions from you (others) open up the humility of what is asked of existence. He thinks himself their servant. As to serve God himself as each are the eyes of. Because they have to be trained. Krsna has appointed him to train them. Therefore he thinks himself as servant of the disciples. This is the position. So when one is advanced, he can see the importance of devotees. Speculative.. in which each has always been a wee bit outside the per se 'mold'..... No one tells a man to be 'x' ..... they make a choice to be for 'other' over the self. Advanced devotee never disobeys or disrespects another devotee. Is like saying nothing a Krsna would say will offend a Muslim. Find one who only talks about Krsna 24 hours a day and cares deeply for the welfare of ALL living entities. Find this person and you have found REAL Guru does that make a nun of catholicism or the pope a guru? If you are genuin , you do not have to find Guru, he will find you. again, please keep your eyes wide open for 'truth' even if from a butterfly upon a specific question or from a person down on his luck living in the streets....... Existence (God) will reveal in due time, look for the truth from existence even if a man shares unknowingly that which is purely true. Be honest and then ask the questions that needs answering; become the master to any guru.
Sarva gattah
God does not select the Pope; a committee of men selects him. Srila Prabhupada on the other hand proved his position by his actions; no one voted him as Jagat-Guru, his achievements, and actions proved he was appointed directly by Krsna due to Prabhupada’s surrender. Actually, no one can vote in any Guru, he or in rare cases, she, must manifest as Guru according to their actions. The Pope and the Catholic Church is actually a mundane meat eating religious tradition that is not really a Spiritual movement in the sense of the Vedic word Spiritual. Even though it is not suppose to be that way say, in actual fact, the 'Catholic' Heaven, like the Muslim, Jewish, Buddhist and Christian Heaven, in the sense it is actually within the temporary mundane Heavenly celestial planets in the higher pious realms of the material world, where people live for 10,000 years or more. This place, like the earth planet, is also part of Maha-Vishnu's mahat-tattva dream creation where the embodied baddha-jiva still ‘wants’ things of God. Like a family reunions the Mormons desire. We are not these biological bodies and therefore it in impossible to be 'resurrected' in them as the Jews and Christians ignorantly and foolishly believe. These nonsense 'religious' Heavens have nothing to do with Vaikuntha or Goloka, which is the REAL eternal Kingdom of God (Krsna) Those with true knowledge, eventually see beyond the sentimentality of wordly religions when they are ready, directed by God within their own hearts.
