Enlighten Me
Hi, I was wondering if someone could assist me in translating my grandparents name for me in sanskrit. I would like to use it in a memorial I am creating for them. Grandmother's name - Kashi Grandfather's name - Talshi Thank you so much. This will really be a great help to my memorial project. Avinash
How do you pronounce a in Kashi and Talshi? Is it short a or long a sound? I am assuming that last i is pronounced like ee of see.

hhshetty
A name sounds the same whatever the language; there is no need to translate it. Just get it written in DEVANAGARI script the way you pronounce it.
