Srila Prabhupada opened the flood gates of Krsna katha for EVERYONE to hear, even if they were NOT qualified.

 

Srila Prabhupada reached out to the mid sixties and early seventies hippie and LSD generation of both educated and lost youth for the purpose to gradually educate us all, starting with the first Volume of the Srimad Bhagavatam and gradually progressing to the 12th Canto, becoming more spiritually mature and realized as we progress. This is what his plan was, and for those who followed, they have gradually achieved advancement and spiritual realizations beyond the mundane materialistic boy and girl relationships

 

 

 

THIS MERCY OF GRADUALLY ADVANCING SPIRITUALLY IS FOR EVERYONE, NO MATTER HOW FALLEN THEY ARE

 

 

I remember the days of distributing books with Buddhimana prabhu during the very early 1970s, selling these transcendental Books with the secrets of creation in the most degraded place in Australia known as Kings Cross.

We stated selling Krsna Book and Srimad Bhagavatam at 7 pm and distributed Books all night till 4am amongst prostututes, pimps (of which one pulled a gun on me for selling Books to his 'ladies' clients that approached both her and me on the same street cornor!!).

We always made sure most of them, and everyone else in Kings Cross, walked away wth a Srimad Bhagavatam and a Krsna Book.

In fact one prostitute that night later read the Krsna Book and eventually became a devotee, got initiated by Prabhpada and is still a devotee today.

Actually, many devotees came from places like this due to the expert Book distribution by Buddhimanta prabhu and others. We have taken Krsna to the most degraded places so that even the most fallen in society can have the opportunety to have Krsna's mercy.
