Bishadi
http://www.gosai.com/chaitanya/saranagati/html/guardians_fs.html bhakti yoga - the science of self-realization by His Divine Grace Srila A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada bhakti-yoga: discovering the self Who are you?... Are you your body? Or your mind? Or are you something higher? Do you know who you are, or do you merely think you know? And does it really matter? Our materialistic society, with its unenlightened leadership, has made it virtually taboo to inquire into our real, higher self. Instead we use our valuable time maintaining, decorating, and pampering the body for its own sake. Might there be an alternative? within the body of text there is a few items that can be observed It is the duty of every human being to understand his constitutional position with God and to act accordingly. If this is possible, then our lives become successful and This Krsna consciousness movement is not blind religious fanaticism, nor is it a revolt by some recent upstart; rather, it is an authorized, scientific approach to the matter of our eternal necessity in relation with the Absolute Personality of Godhead, the Supreme Enjoyer. Krsna consciousness simply deals with our eternal relationship with Him and the process of discharging our relative duties to Him. Thus, Krsna consciousness enables us to achieve the highest perfection of life attainable in the present human form of existence. We must always remember that this particular form of human life is attained after an evolution of many millions of years in the cycle of transmigration of the spirit soul. so it seems that the evolution of life and knowledge should be understood as well the suggestion of the 'scientific approach' is where it appears that the intend of bhakti must remain honest to the evolution of knowledge honoring the scientific aspects as well. Not that seeking the gains of possession is at all merited as the sciences are often geared for but that true understanding and that evolution to knowledge exists within. Perhaps a few of the elders can share a little on this.
