melvin
Why he loves the Senyor Sto Nino so much ----------- On Sptember 1957 his mother Julie 7 months pregnant was worried because she suddenly had profuse bleeding(placenta previa). Her obstetrician told her if the bleeding wont stop, she would be scheduled for a ceasarean operation the next day. & the baby that would come out from her womb a pre-term infant. So, that night she prayed hard to the Holy Child of Cebu. She told the Lord that if he`d let the bleeding stop, this baby would study in his school, Colegio del Sto. Nino. That when he finishes college, she would let this baby take up medicine and hope he`d become a licensed physician. Everyone was surprised the following morning when his mother Julie was about to be taken to the operating room because her bleeding stopped. Thus, preventing her baby from being born prematurely. On NOvember 3, 1957, Julie`s baby was born full term whom she christened as Melvin. True to what she promised to the Holy Child of Cebu, she enrolled Melvin as kindergarten in Colegio del Sto Nino at the age of 5 & a half years old. & 25 years later became a licensed physician. Dr. Melvin therefore owes his life to the Holy Child of Cebu whom after decades of searching discovers that the Icon said to have been gifted by Magellan to the Queen of Cebu on March 1521 is no other than Lord Govinda/Krsna himself disguised as the Senyor Sto Nino. Believe it or not.
