Observer
Hi I'm new around here and would like to know if there are any Sanskrit proverbs relating to procrastination? If there are would you be so kind as to name a few short ones? (with English translations as well please) I would really appreciate it. Thank you
paramaudarya
Namaste! I just joined today simply after seeing your interest in Sanskrit proverbs (I hope you mean Subhashitaani). There are separate groups that discusses everything Sanskrit specifically Subhashitaani and one such link that comes to my mind is googling: "chitrapurmath.net/sanskrit/subhashitas.htm" But here is one that could be a close one to what you are looking for (I will post an exact one when I get a chance): Agnihi Sesham rRuNaha Sesham Shatruhu Sesham Thathaiva Cha | Punaha Punaha Pravardhetha Thasmaath Sesham Na Kaarayeth || Do not postpone putting out Fire, Loan and Enemy. They have a habit of resurfacing, so finish your act completely in order to be rid of them. Sarve Janah Sukhino Bhavanthu, SanmangaLaani Santhu!
