Meditation is very important activity for us to perform, for, it helps us in a number of ways. First of all meditation improves our concentration which depends on the degree to which we are able to control our mind. In general, people lose their concentration as their mind keeps wandering around by indulging in things like day dreaming, or thinking about girls when he is supposed to study for his exams. What one needs to control his or her mind is something like active meditation, which is modern technique of meditation targeting people with poor concentration level.

Active meditation allows the person performing it to remain active by participating in activities such as singing, dancing, clapping, humming and listening to its sound and that of music played in the back ground. In short, active meditation involves a lot of celebration through an atmosphere of joy and delight. Once you are able to learn this technique of meditation you can easily be able to learn how to practice spirituality in your life. this is because meditation provides you with good physical as well as mental health.
