vrindavana_kannan
Dear everyone, Namaste. With the blessings of the Almighty Lord, "Flowers of Devotion", a website dedicated to Bhakti, Sanatana Dharma and allied topics was started on the eve of Navaratri 2008. The website (primarily) incorporates Stotras, Bhajans, Aartis and other devotional hymns in praise of the multifarious deities of the Hindu Pantheon, in Sanskrit and other vernacular languages like Avadhi (Hindi), Tamil, Marathi etc. Authentic translations in English to these hymns are also incorporated along with Audio renderings where available. The stotras are apropriately tagged with reference to their composer, place, deity, metre and other relevant information, which would make referencing and searching similar stotras quite easy. Other topics that are currently published on the website are Subhashitas (roughly: words of wisdom), general articles on Sanatana Dharma, benedictory speeches of great sages and saints (of our era). Articles are added on a regular basis and there is still a lot more to be added. The website is still young and is in a constant state of development. Articles that are planned include topics on Indian temples, scriptures like the Purana, Itihasa and works on Bhakti. The website may be accessed from http://www.flowers-of-devotion.co.cc/ I regret that I am unable to link directly (by means of hyperlinks) since this forum requires posting at least fifteen posts to do so. I'd appreciate it if you'll could spare some time to go through the website and send me your valuble feedback, comments and suggestions to make the website more informative and useful. Thank you. R.
