Hinduism is the only religion in which the time scales correspond, to those of modern scientific cosmology. The Hindu literature is work of a Genius.

(Dr. Steinn Sigurdsson, Pennsylvania State University)

It looks like that the writers of Vedas and Puran came from the future to deliver knowledge. The works of the Ancient Arya Sages is mind blowing. There is no doubt that Purans and Vedas are word of God.

(Scott Sandford , Space Scientist, NASA)

How could Hindus (Aryas) have possibly known all this 6,000 years ago, when scientists have only recently discovered this using advanced equipment which did not exist at that time? Such concepts were found only recently.

(Dr. Kevin Hurley of the University of California at Berkeley)

Foolish men speak of foolish things.

Why are this people from NASA and University of Berkeley speak of "Aryas" when there is no such concept in Hindusm?

They could believe that people from the Future could have went 6,000 yrs in the past and told Sages there about these knowledge BUT do not believe that Gods and Goddesses of Hindusm exist and they have shared knowledge and Wisdom with Men for Ages (right up to Kali yuga).

The proof is right in front of their eyes. They know that, no matter how smart a person is, they could only do so much without modern scientific instructments. Yet, the proof which speaks of itself in Hindusm - such as in the Vedas, Gita and Puranas present knowledge which one can ONLY find using the advance technology.

The Milky way forms the spine-line of the dolphin shaped "sisumara" description:

SB 5.23.5

This form of the çiçumära has its head downward and its body coiled. On the end of its tail is the planet of Dhruva, on the body of its tail are the planets of the demigods Prajäpati, Agni, Indra and Dharma, and at the base of its tail are the planets of the demigods Dhätä and Vidhätä. Where the hips might be on the çiçumära are the seven saintly sages like Vasiñöha and Aìgirä. The coiled body of the Çiçumära-cakra turns toward its right side, on which the fourteen constellations from Abhijit to Punarvasu are located. On its left side are the fourteen stars from Puñyä to Uttaräñäòhä. Thus its body is balanced because its sides are occupied by an equal number of stars. On the back of the çiçumära is the group of stars known as Ajavéthé, and on its abdomen is the Ganges that flows in the sky [the Milky Way].

is there any reference of galaxies on the vedic scriptures?

thanks

This line from Hindustani's tripod page caught my eye.

Shape of Earth is like an Oblate Spheroid. (Rig Veda XXX. IV. V). I wonder where the author found that verse, as the Rig-Veda does not have (XXX = 30) books!

Cheers
