suchandra
Always thought the "middle" bead resembles Krsna. Below it says, wrong, it is Sumeru. Any idea? "The beads of the mala are the Gopis and the string between them is the glistening Blue One. With each and every gopi a Krsna does the Rasa dance without ceasing. In the middle is central, "Sumeru" bead with is Kisora and Kisori joined intimately together. The bag for the string of beads is the place of the Rasa Dance. For this reason the Mahamantra is to be recited in a very private way. But it is not to be sung as kirtana. Mahaprabhu gave the rule that it should be chanted while keeping count."
