When u do japa on that mantra then you derive energy from the mantra and Gurudev and thus successfuly unknot your kundalini...which is a gradual process In Shaktipath kundalini dikhsa Gurudev transforms energy directly onto you by pressing his thumb on ur forehead or glancing on you or totouching you or by photo. When you get this diksha then 90% of the job is already done and u need to put just 10% efforts to be successful.
