Guest guest
Dear Gurubhais, I was pondering upon the guru mantra "Om Param Tatvaay Naaraayannaay Gurubhyo Namah" and needed some clarifications. 1. Are you aware of which shastras/puranas/vedas this Guru Mantra is derived from? 2. Is there any Viniyoga, Rsyaadi Nyaasa, Sadanga Nyaasa etc. for this mantra? Om is obviously the pranava, Param refers to supreme, Gurubhyo to Guru and Namah to Salutations. 3. Is that Tatvaay or Tattvaay? This is because Tatvaay would refer to "truth/reality" and Tattvaay to "the Elements in the form of the 36 Tattvas and the Five Mahaa Bhuutas of Earth/Water/Fire/Air/Akasha". So Param Tatvaay would be "Supreme Truth/Reality" and Param Tattvaay "Supreme of the Elements". 4. Does Naaraayannaay refer to "Krishna (Vishnu)" or its technical meaning of "son of the original Man" or is there some other meaning? Regards,Sol

Guest guest
Hello, You better concentrate on Mantra Sadhanas if you are one of his disciples. What you gonna do with the meaning?????????????????? Knowing meaning and stuffs are won't make you great. Well it might make you a scholar but not a disciple. Still, it is nice to know. I forgot the issue but...it's described in 1999 MTYV, may be...look into the MTYV and you'll find really a lot which you'd never get here. jai gurudevSol <solamrita wrote: Dear Gurubhais, I was pondering upon the guru mantra "Om Param Tatvaay Naaraayannaay Gurubhyo Namah" and needed some clarifications. 1.
