Seance - Summoning spirits - The Indian way?

Hello friends,

 

A couple of my researcher friends are making

investigative documentaries on well-known hauntings

across India. Please note that they are not some bunch

of college jocks looking for adventure, but people

with immense respect and belief in spirituality. They

have decent knowledge of Eastern (Nath/Siddha/Kashmiri

Agamic schools) as well as Western (OTO,

Rosicrucianism, Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn)

occult traditions.

 

Now, my question is - We know some Celtic seance

rituals of summoning spirits, but is there a similar

Indian method which can be performed via a medium?
