Guest guest Posted May 18, 2008 Report Share Posted May 18, 2008 SOME IMPORTANT THINGS REGARDING DOING GURU MANTRA JAP..*no matter what the sadhak should do 4rounds of guru mantra daily,also guru poojan should be as per laid down in book*if one can do guru mantra betwen 5am-6am then thats excellent else can do as per suitable time..*do not ever show ur guru mantra mala to anyone,it should always be in gomukhi...*guru mantra mala should never touch the ground or feet,if it does pour ganga jal on it,touch mala to gurudev photo,ask forgiveness from gurudev..*change ur mala gomukhi to new one on every guru poornima day or on gurudev birthday...*one should do fixed number of guru mantra mala rounds daily...*This was told to me by a senior sadhak which i am sharing with u-before starting guru mantra jap fold hands & ask permission from gurudev for doing guru mantra jap,after jap is over fold hands pray to gurudev to forgive for known/unknown mistakes that might have occured during guru mantra jap & request gurudev to accept the guru mantra jap that has just been done...*never touch guru mantra mala & chadhar & all guru poojan stuff with dirty hands...*always wear guru chaddhar when sitting for guru mantra jap...*concentrate on every slyabue in guru mantra when doing guru mantra jap..*no matter what always try not to get up in between guru mantra jap viz before completing 4rounds of guru mantra mala jap.. *wash guru chadhar,dhoti,sitting asaan on special days like gurudev birthday or guru poornima or other special days as per gurudev... *never tell anyone about what mantra jap or sadhana u do,also never tell anyone about ur spiritual,divine experiences.discuss all this with gurudev only JAI GURUDEV..
