mantra siddhi and how it can be done to get perfection

many friends on the forum r asking how to get mantra siddhi.

 

i wud like to hi-light here some important points to achieve

mantra siddhi.

 

to get gods to do our work we shud be shuddh,and have

good karma,ie not lie,not be thief etc.this is first step.

 

second step is to not eat meat,and also no use of tabacco

alcolhol drugs etc.

 

being of very hi moral caliber is also a must.

 

 

now the more critical aspects :

 

irrespective of what so called man created caste

one belongs to one must be a dwij-means

take upnayan sanskar.

 

without doing janeu - sacred thread dharan its

not easy to do the siddhi,its my personal experience

especially for gruhastas.

 

dont think i am not brahmin or whatever we r all brahmin

who seek the gods.

 

do worship of 5 gods daily :

 

ganesh [ om shree ganeshaya namaha ]

 

shakti [ om shree durgayey namaha ]

 

vishnu [ om shree mahavishnave namaha ]

 

rudra [ om shivaya namaha or om namaste maharudraya ]

 

surya sahit shree navgraha dev [ om shree navgrahaya namaha ]

 

do 3-5-11-21-27108-etc mantra each day.

 

 

do 3-11-21-108-1008 chant of gayatri everyday.[VERY IMPORTANT ]

 

 

keep yrself clean mentally physically and in

all ways possible.

 

do dhyan and meditation everyday.

 

VERY IMP : ONE MUST HAVE ISHTA DEVTA

 

either u have yr own ishta devta and yr kuldevta

can be ishta devta.

 

develop loving and close relation to ishtadevta.

 

having guru is must if one cant find

proper guru then consider yr own

ishta devta as yr guru,if necessary.

 

ishtadevta can me god or goddess.

 

 

be loving hunmble and good to all.

 

do not discriminate against anyone based

on religion caste etc.

 

love all hate none.

 

 

these r pre-requesites for starting any sadhana.

 

if we follow these simple rules then we can surely

get mantra sadhana siddhi.

 

 

om shakti adi shakti kuldundaliniyey namo namaha

 

om shree laxmi narasimhaya namaha

 

om shree maharudrya namaha

 

om shree maha bairavaya nama

Dear all

 

I want to clear some aspects in mantra sidhi....

 

First of all every person must attained its mantra from gurumukh i.e. you have to be initiated by Guru first... (it will help you) at every step..

 

Second thing is to do utkeelan of that mantra without which it will not charge...

 

then do dashansh havan of that mantra as per required do's and donts

 

then do jap of that mantra while keeping picture of that deity in front of you...

 

then you will be able to see the effect of that mantra after some time....

 

 

 

Moreover if you are doing any ugra sadhana then its advisable not to start any sadhana without guidance of guru.... Because these sadhana generally creates hallucination in person and create fear ...

its ok,but still take guidance from a competent

authorit like a preist or someone.

I agree to some of the points mentioned in this discussion.

 

Here are some more important :

 

1. You must know the meaning of the mantra before you start practicing it. Know

what each bijakshar in your mantra is used for.

2. There is a specific amount of Jap needed for each sadhak. Depending upon

their Sidhi chakra, one can perform a particular sadhana. You may start without

checking this chakra but either it will work very late or it may not work at

all.

3. To boost the success, you must check the directions, color and the aasan you

use. You cant sit on anything and start doing jap even though its a pooja room.

4. Correct pronunciation.

5. Permission from your guru to start anything because he is the only one who

will protect you in case you commit some mistakes.

6. Rest others are already mentioned here. I am really not sure if we have to do

Vishnu, Shakti, Rudra, Navagraha etc daily for the success. I believe that you

need to pray your Guru and you can start worshipping your favorite god/goddess.

Yes I agree with Ganesh and Gayatri though.

7. Never reveal the name of your upasya devata to anybody except your sishya.

8. Last but not the lease, please dont discuss mantras openly.
