We have

already discussed some aspects of planets along with other topics and

their relative impacts etc. But these Mounts of different planets also

have separate significance. We shall now discuss in detail.

The mounts of different planets indicate more of a person's nature and

mentality than lines on a palm because without considering these

Mounts, one cannot accurately predict the impact of lines on one's

palm. In order to predict anything one has to consider the Mounts along

with lines, although a line could be very good, strong if the planet

itself is not well disposed it will unfortunately not give desired

results and would infact give opposite, evil effects. Hence, Mounts are

of special significance. The illustration of the hand is given

indicating the different Mounts.

The way to determine the mounts under fingers is by seeing the

structure of the skin beneath the phalanges. This mark/sign is seen in

between the 4 fingers. The fine lines are considered as middle points

and area around them is denoted as specific mounts. These mounts are

usually below the fingers which id the natural place. Sometimes one can

even see inclination of some mounts towards other planetary mounts. In

such cases this specific planetary energy enhances other planetary

energy and effect.

The height of the Mount is directly proportional to its effect and

strength. If the mount is flat it reduces the effect of the specific

planet. If a planet is weak and it is crossed over by another line and

if the respective finger is longer, the planets become very strong and

its effect double.

 

 

 

THE MOUNT OF JUPITER

 

The mount

of Jupiter denotes leadership qualities, ego, ambition and desire for

prestige and honour. If the mount of Jupiter is well developed one can

see all these qualities. If this mount is not developed and is flat,

one does not have respect for parents and teachers and lack spiritual

inclination. If this mount is neither flat nor well developed, such a

person will have spiritual interest, has love for nature, and is a

sycophant and is fond of material pleasure and ostentatious living.

If the mount of Jupiter is well developed and if the Jupiter finger is

pointed then that person is superstitious. If there is a square on the

mount then it indicates cruelty of nature. If the fingers are long ,

slender and not knotted and if the mount is very much developed, then

such a person is fond of pleasures, is a spendthrift and is fond of

relaxation.

If there are 2-3 lines on the mount of Jupiter, they help in the

accomplishment of ambitions of that particular person. Such a person is

always financially well off. If there is more effect of Jupiter on a

person and if the first phalange of the index finger is long, such a

person is often successful in his political, spiritual and intellectual

spheres of life.
