My Own experience is that chanting them with a sankalp has always been fruitful and chanting them before starting any anushthan brings siddhi easily to you. Reverend Gurudev always said that chanting SaptaShati's one chapter each day is good for sadhaks. However the saptaShloki and also The SiddhKunjika is a precis of the entire SaptaShati. It will definitely aid in activating the powers in you quickly.
