There are three methods of chanting Mantras.Vachik: In this method, mantras are chanted as loudly as you speak. People around you can easily listen the chanting.Upanshu: In this method, mantras are chanted in a way that only you can hear them, like a whisper. while doing sadhana, which way of chanting is advised to achieve success ?

Achieving success is a different matter.

 

Manasik chanting is recommended for most sadhanas.
