Guest guest
Most people who long for miracles and know about mantra sadhanas, join the " beginner " club. They read something, hear some more, formulate the remaining and with a bunch of illusions, jump in to move to the next level. The internet worsens the situation. Discussion boards are being stuffed with posts like " I am a beginner. I would like to know the proper way of performing a sadhana so that I can get siddhis FASTER. " It takes about nine months for a baby to be born; it takes over a decade for a tree to reach it's full height and it takes 365.2564 days for Earth to complete one revolution around the Sun. I wonder, what is fast and what is slow. Sadhana is difficult and somewhat dangerous way of life. It is not a " use-now-throw-later " tool or a " dream-anything-get-everything " product. It requires patience, diligence, commitment, strength, relentless hardwork and active guidance of an able Guru. Interests, curiosities and desires do not entitle someone to be called a beginner.
