Guest guest
Thank you for sharing your experiences. About happiness ... I am happy every day. Seldom do I worry. Seldom do I encounter a Desire or a Fear that causes me to feel Lacking. As the Bhaghavad Gita teaches, I have found that the Key is to learn to let go of both fears and of desires, to leave the result of action to the Lord. When we do the Lord takes such good care of us each day. The other Key for me is to find Joy, a powerful feeling of happiness. One method that works well for me is to use Mountain Pose. After deep breathing I begin to chant Alleluia Arising from sitting position I reach as high as I can, then stretch a little further. At the top of the pose I smile with a very big smile. The stretching of tendons causes nerves to tingle. That feels like the Smile consumes all of my body, all sheathes. Bhakti devotion with chanting is another practice that brings similar joy and bliss. Bruce
