There are norms like all Shiva, and shakti's of Shiva related prayogs, you can fall back on Rudraksha mala. Rudraksha mala should never be used for any prayogs of Durga or its other forms. Sfatik malas are used for vashikaran, and many Lakshmi related sadhanas. Sabar prayogs use Hakik, and sfatik malas primarily. Although its advisable to use the specific mala for specific purpose. Only in the event of non availability, and urgency of matter, you may use those norms above to fall back to choose a specific rosary.
