Guest guest
Namaskar Dear Friends, Yesterday was day 25th of our Tsunami Relief Fundraising effort. We spent the evening at the Hare Krishna Temple performing live music and serving delicious vegetarian dinner. We had many guests from Metro Toronto and out of town. Very talented, Toronto's Ananda Margii band " Soja " ( Liilamaya, JagatBandhu, Rupali ) and Local Indian musicians and singers performed the most beautiful Prabhat Samghiits, Baba Nam Kevalam Kiirtans and traditional Indian music and songs including Hare Krishna chanting. This time selling tickets and giving out Amurt flyers was in tune with an inspirational songs. It was another successful day. Sister Nilmini welcomed our guests and presented news about our Amurt activities in India ,Indonesia and other countries. Brother Ravi prepared PP presentation about Amurt. Brother Trilokesh coordinated all parts of the program, including food and taking video. Sister Gaunga Devii and brothers Jayendra and Richard supported us financially. Dada Parinirvanananda interacted with all the guests and inspired many. Our hosts and residents of the Hare Krishna Temple were very happy to participate in this service and we are very grateful for their hospitality and kindness. All Margiis are feeling inspired and are working very hard to make a difference. We would like to thanks all our guests for coming to this event despite of very cold weather (-20 C ). At the same time one of the local public, elementary schools in Grey Bruce County, Holland Centre donated CAN $ 1000 to Amurt effort. Also one of the Priceville residents, Ms. Jeanette Gibson donated CAN $ 500 and Holand donated CAN $ 100. Thank you to all of them. Good luck in your efforts !
