Guest guest
Here's the simple meditation technique given by ¦hree Priyashri Devi Mataji: Sit comfortably (on a rug or on a chair), with your back, neck and head straight (not rigidly so). Breath in and out slowly, (not so slow that you feel short of breath). Start with 5 breaths, and after a week or so increase it to 10-15 minutes of slow breathing. Alongwith this you can also practice pronunciation of the sound HOOM, extending the OOOOO.. sound and trying to make the sound as free of fluctuations as you can. While breathing, you may also start " thinking " the same sound, withhout opening the mouth. Instead of HOOM (HUNG), you can use OM, or any other Holy sound u are aware of, but these 2 (OM and HOOM) are usually the best for beginners. Feel free to contact me for further help, and just note these 2 precautions: 1) Do NOT practice with a bent back or neck. 2) Do NOT stop the breath, either during inhalation or exhalation. The flow must be slow and natural. kunal Gochi __ Start your day with - make it your home page http://www./r/hs
