Where does all bodily pain cease, without a trace remaining ?When, secluded aloof from all sense-desire & isolated from any other detrimental state,one enters and remains in the first jhāna absorption of directed thought and sustainedreflection, joined with pleasure and joy, born of & in this solitary seclusion: It is rightthere, that all bodily pain ceases without a trace remaining...Therefore do beings reborn at the fine-material brahma level, never feel any physical pain, since they are continously absorped in this the first jhāna concentration...
