Anbu Vanakkam everyoneSaiva Siddhanta Mandram is a non-profit organisation dealing with religious issues. Our main aim is to be of benefit to our society.We run classes on Hinduism, organise religious trip and camps and run 3 children's home and a home for elderly ladies. As our homes are in constant need of funds, we regularly organise events with the hope of generating revenue for these homes.Our next event is a one-day trip to the Sree Athi Siva Sakti Kanthareeswarar Temple in Kluang, Johor on Sunday May 21, 2006.This temple houses 237 sivalingas and also conducts poojas for its devotees namely :1. The Atma Linga Vilakku Pooja for long life;2. The Siva Abishegam for general well-being;3. The Kubera Pooja for prosperity; and4. The Yema Darman Maharaja Pooja for ill people.Any of these poojas can be conducted on a personal basis

for any of the participants, if they so desire.Participants are also encouraged to bring along some uncooked rice (any amount)as there is a large rice pot in this temple which has never gone empty and this rice is used to feed the devotees. The rice that you bring along will be put into this pot.Those who intend to participate in the prayers and poojas are advised to bring along a change of clothing as water will be poured over your head before you start prayers.Even though the main aim of this trip is to create religious awareness, it will also be a fun-filled trip with lots of laughter and happiness, so youngsters need not be apprehensive about coming along.Meeting point : In front of KFC Jalan Ria 25/62 Taman Sri Muda, Shah
