Guest guest
Namaskar, Holly trinity is non dualistic concept. In reality means: GOD = AUM ( read vertically and horizontally - GOD-Generator-Operator-Destroyer -AUM - A - opening sound, U - continuity sound, M - closing sound - OM! ) EPE NES ERT RAR ATO TOY ORE R R Concept and term of GOD, according to Tantra should be used when we discribe the attributional state, Shaguna Brahma - (As the operative principle - Shakti.) When we talk about the non- attributional state, Nirguna Brahma, (As the cognitive principle - Shiva.) it is better to use term - Brahma. In reality we still talk about the same Supreme Consciousness, only playing different roles ; Shiva Shaktyatmakam Brahma - Brahma is the composite of Shiva and Shakti (Ananda Sutram1-1 - non dualism ). In the common language people use the term God,which is fine , but the proper understanding should not be lost. In Him, Baba Nam Kevalam ! Trilokesh ====================================== Rasa Von Werder wrote: ADVAITA, DID YOU SAY ADVAITA? http://www.womanthouartgod.com/yoga.php People are throwing around the word 'advaita' on groups and that Rasa is a dualist. Will you kindly give me your definition of the word, and how it applies to daily life? There is one thing that I believe bears stressing here: Nature, the body, the earth, the Universe, is the Second Person of the Holy Trinity, and equal with God in the realm of Spirit or Energy. To me the 'Holy Trinity' is God the Mother God the Creation and God the Holy Spirit What exactly is your 'advaita' saying? It seems to me those espousing a certain brand of advaita are the most cruel people on the internet; Bruce , JodyR, Judi. Why does their religion make them cruel? Why is an 'advaitist' a cruel person? What do you - the 'advaitist', think about the body, the emotions, animals and nature? Will someone kindly explain this to me? Then we can talk. Because to be honest, the 'advaita' I have heard from many, including my once-esteemed Swami G, does not make one bit of sense. It seems to me this brand of 'advaita' denies there is a body, a separate identity, a material world and flesh; it denies human feelings and emotions, it denies being human. Are 'advaitists' imagining they are angels and have no human dimension? Are your 'advaitists' denying all these things and saying that they don't exist? And another point - where is the love of you 'advaitists'? Do you love God, or are you so exalted there is no room for love? Are you so perfect that you ARE love, as God is love, and therefore, you are Sat Chit Ananda? Then why are you so cruel, coldhearted, calloused, unfeeling, and without sensitivity to the pain of others? In my world, I know God in two ways, God as Truth and God as Love. They work together, and they stimulate and fill up my Mind and my Heart. I have a mind and heart, I am not in another world in my daily life. If I did not have a mind I could not function, (and that includes normal ego) and if I did not have a heart I could not love. Which is more important? Although the mind comes first, as one cannot love until one SEES/UNDERSTANDS the beloved, the heart then comes into play by DESIRING, LONGING FOR THE BELOVED AND BECOMING ONE WITH THE BELOVED. Those two faculties - the mind and the heart, play against each other, stimulating each other. The more the mind learn of God, the more the heart yearns for God and therefore, grows. (There has to be HUNGER for God!) When one makes sacrificial acts of love for the beloved, the MIND opens up in SUPERNATURAL UNDERSTANDING, because charity begets grace, which fills up both mind and heart. I have seen this in action when I have done kindnesses. Suddenly, my mind fills with supernatural understanding. >From what I have seen of your 'advaita' on the internet, it is not a good religion. It separates KNOWLEDGE and LOVE. These should never be separated. Your religion has no love. It is the closest thing to Satanic I have ever seen. You do not WORSHIP God. You have no DEVOTION. You are not HUMBLE before God. These above qualities are those which bring grace to the soul, and lift the person to the heaven where God is. What does your 'advaita' do for you? You are cold, lifeless, intellectuals filled with fantasies of being above and beyond the flesh, and you are totally in it. Because without supernatural love, one cannot rise above the flesh. True Advaita SEES GOD EVERYWHERE IN ALL PEOPLE, IN ALL ANIMALS, IN ALL LIFE, and sees all of life and nature as Sacred, as THE SAME AS GOD. That is where I am at. I am the TRUE NONDUALIST - you are the FAKE. Discussions here and: TastingSugar/ ---------- SUBJECTS ON OUR GROUP: Enlightement - Soul Liberation - Meditations - Divinity!
