Guest guest
Namaskar, In the ultimate reality, there is no difference between both paths. Actually all paths are always individual. There is no a collective realization, neither the collective liberation. People are trying to speculate and discuss matters which are highly symbolical and metaphorical. No one except realized souls can say what is true and the realized cannot express it either, since it is is beyond the intellectual perceptionn ( this is why poetry is so handy and popular within the Great Masters ...). The true, spiritual experience starts where all kosas ends and periphery of knowledge is transformed into pure experience. Could you describe the taste of an orange without tasting it ? and when you finally tasted this specific fruit, can you describe it's taste ( in true sense ) to someone who never ate it. Most of the scholars and practitioners are only speculating, but only few actually tested this Ambrosia of the Ultimate Reality. Example: My wife's relative is a very famous, world class sanskrit and religious studies, scholar , dean of the Asian Studies Department in one of the most prestigious US Universities, but his spiritual realization is minimal if not existing at all. These type of examples are countless within so called pundits. It is useless to talk about all those matters for the sake of the philosophical speculations. It is better to spend this time on practice and service to all living beings. I suggest to enjoy this beauty of creation, serve and love all unconditionally and surrender to the inner and outer Mahasatguru, who resides within all of us. In Him, Trilokesh sneckhar wrote: I do not know if this is relevant, but at one of our discussions my husbands spiritual guru said, that advaita and dwaita were more individual pathways. ie is to say a shaiva siddanti or some one who is inot some yoga sadhana or the other tends to look from within outside, this is also the basis for advaita while there a set of people who look from out within you can call this bhakti, dwaita, vaishanva siddantha. he also mentioned that there was more romance and ritual involved in the vaishnava prakriti as compared to theshaiva. I hope i have not treaded on anyone's toe. ithishri
