I am a westerner who has studied both eastern and western plilosophies for over twenty years and I have found the fullness of God in the Sacred Syllable OM. This has been my practice for some time now (5+ years). I have written two books honoring OM, because I feel it is the safest method of realization (especially now in Kali Yuga). By meditating on the OM sound, you connect directly with God, who is both the Original Being as well as the Original Energy source of our lives.
